Lamentatio Magi
Heu ferrumine calcis atque harenae
priscae clauditur arboris foramen,
umbrosis aditus quod inferorum
silvis exhibuit, quod et iuvantes
5 fessum duxit ad astures, leaenas,
noctuas, lepores, lupos, viverras,
et salutiferos dedit dracones.
quare, faticini, valete amici!
terrarum valeat paternus orbis.
10 obstructo veteris loco meatus,
deflenti novus est mihi petendus.
