Lactantii Liber De Ira Dei, XIII
Welcome to Latinum, the Latin language learning lessons from London.This argument quoted here by Lactantius is from Epicurus. This is Epicurus' famous argument against divine providence, and the notion that there is an all-powerful interventionist God. It took me a while to hunt this one down in the original Latin, but I eventually found it on pg 161 - 162 of "Lucii Caecilii Firmiani Lactantii Opera Omnia" 1748 (but the date stated in Roman numbers is interestingly MDCCLXXXIV)
