Declensions - all cases compared with the nominative singular forms.

Download this episode (9 min)

I noticed that when I think of a case, I first think of the nominative singular form of the word, and then my mind jumps to the case form needed. As my mind seems to work this way, I thought this might be a common phenomenon - certainly, when speaking, there is no time to imagine a declension table and then pick the right form - the forms need to be available more quickly than that. This short recording, if played a few times, should help engrave this information into your mind, as it runs through examples drawn from all the word types found in all the declensions.
